I know, it's been ages since I updated the church blog! Three weeks ago I was sick with a cold and couldn't attend church. 2 weeks ago my computer had a meltdown and I haven't been able to use it since and last week I wasn't feeling very well and we were running late so I didn't make it to church again. Hopefully we're totally back on track now so i can continue blogging. I however do not have a working computer so I am using a macbook which Jeffrey borrowed from work, which might I add is awesome!!!!So two weeks ago John Gaadenne was preaching at church and his message was titled 'The Happiness of the Believer'. He shared with us what true happiness is, not money, not things (like the macbook haha), not a big house. True happiness is found with God and in serving Him. Through your prayer life be sure to ask God how He wants you to serve Him each day. It might be big things but most likely it will be the small things and the way you live your life.
Last week I wasn't at church but John preached a message titled 'Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith'. Jeff informs me this was a great message which you should certainly listen too. Head over to www.palmwoodsbaptistchurch.com.au to listen to it online.
